Piecemeal

Life comes in pieces.

We may want more. We may crave connections.

We may even try to put the puzzle together ourselves.

But we can't. We don't have all the pieces.

First they must be lived, one...by one.

Along the way, we may begin to see that there is beauty.

Beauty in pieces.

Wonder and mystery in the parts that only God makes whole.

For it is He Who puts them in community.

He Who knows the full picture they comprise.

And it is His Love that holds them together...

...one day for all to see.

"[A]ll things were created and exist through Him and in and for Him...
and in Him all things are held together."

    1. Cheers, Linda! When I long to see the whole picture, I need to remember that God knows just how much I can handle...and that He has tucked away treasures in the details, if I will only look.

      Warmly wishing you joy,

  3. So much is true here...why do we worry about the process of becoming whole when we have the Healer?

    1. Amen, Alyssa! I love how you've phrased this thought-provoking question...and its answer: WE HAVE THE HEALER.

Thanks for your encouragement to keep our focus on the Person -- not the process -- of wholeness.

      God bless you,

  6. Oh, I love this - the poetry of it, the photos - I so love the feet - and the whole! Yes - we are living one day at a time, one piece at a time become who He designed us to be - you explain that beautifully!

    1. Thanks for such a cheery note today, Blue Cotton friend!

Yes, those little feet. Love 'em! In cherishing those little things, we get to see (up close!) just how awesome the big picture is going to be...so full of wondrous detail and sweet, sweet blessings.

      One piece at a time,
      HBHW
